    The spiral charging cable offered here is three-phase with 16 amps and can therefore conduct maximum charging power of 11 kilowatts . It has a cable length of about 4 to 5 meters (due to the spiral shape only approximate information depending on the pull on the spiral cable). This charging cable is CE certified . The insulation is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) . This makes the insulation thinner and lighter while maintaining optimum insulation. It arrives in a secure and custom-fit outer carton.


    Type 2 charging cable suitable for all e-cars and plug-in hybrids in a special spiral shape for charging without contamination of the charging cable. The spiral shape connects your charging cable to the charging station and the cable tension avoids contact with the ground. The charging cable hangs in the air and is therefore less worn and, above all, not dirty.


    The coiled design of the Type 2 to Type 2 IEC 62196 EV charging cable makes it convenient to use in a variety of charging scenarios, such as public charging stations or home charging setups.     Why do I need a spiral charging cable to charge my electric car or PHEV?


    Of course, you park your e-car at the charging station so that the distance from the charging point to your vehicle connection is as short as possible. The standard charging cable, which is often five meters long and smooth, is actually a bit oversized for the distance and the rest of the charging cable lies on the ground in the dirt or, worse, in a puddle.
